These dynamic musicians engage audiences through music, storytelling, and movement. Winner of the Fischoff and Concert Artists Guild competitions, WindSync has performed in great concert halls including Carnegie Hall, Shanghai Oriental Arts Center and the Met Museum.

Their program, Voyages in Space & Time, whisks the audience away on a musical journey featuring works by Beethoven and Debussy as well as a new piece dedicated to the 1969 Apollo 11 lunar mission. Chicago composer Marc Mellits composed an Apollo piece just for WindSync in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing. Not only did it take inspiration from that mission, Mellits also wove personal ideas and his impressions of the WindSync ensemble into the music.

The beautiful Highwood Golf Club was the venue for this concert.

WindSync also presented an interactive and imaginative rendition of “Peter and the Wolf” for a Children’s Concert on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
