The Brasil Guitar Duo wowed us so much in 2011, we had to have them back for our 10th anniversary season in a superb, evocative and fun concert.

The Brasil Guitar Duo, 2006 winner of the Concert Artists Guild International Competition, is equally at home on a classical or a world-music series or performing a concerto with orchestra. João Luiz and Douglas Lora met in São Paulo as teenage guitar students. For over 20 years, their partnership has featured innovative programming and a seamless blend of traditional and Brazilian works. Their growing catalog of critically acclaimed recordings have earned them two Latin Grammy nominations.
