Winner and First Laureate of the world’ prestigious Honens International Piano Competition in 2009. First Prize winner at the fourth Top of the World International Piano Competition in Norway. Three recordings on the Honens label. Virtuoso Georgy Tchaidze has performed extensively throughout Europe, North America and Asia … and in 2011, High River.

Born in 1988 in St. Petersburg, Georgy Tchaidze began playing piano and violin at age seven. He received an undergraduate degree from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory with People’s Artist of Russia, Professor Sergey Dorensky, before earning his master’s degree at the Berlin University of the Arts with Professor Klaus Hellwig. He enjoys a reputation as a sensitive collaborative pianist, having performed with Canada’s Cecilia String Quartet as well as with the Borodin Quartet.
