Canadian pianist Winston Choi is Professor and Program Director of Piano at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts. Winner of France’s Concours International de Piano 20e siècle d’Orléans and Laureate of the Honens International Piano Competition, he is internationally recognized for his bold interpretations of the standard repertoire and his unwavering commitment to contemporary music. He appears worldwide as a soloist, chamber musician, and educator.
A passionate advocate for new music, Choi has premiered and commissioned over 100 works.

A curious explorer of piano repertoire with a rare combination of sensitivity and strength, 29-year-old French-Canadian pianist Élisabeth Pion is the Gold Laureate and Audience Choice Award winner of the 2025 Honens International Piano Competition. She appears on international stages as a recitalist, chamber musician, and guest artist, earning acclaim for her technical precision, expressive range, and deep engagement with her repertoire.
Élisabeth has performed at prestigious venues such Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall, Maison Symphonique, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre, and Sala Cecília Meireles. She was a Radio-Canada 2024-25 Breakthrough Artist.

Jon Kimura Parker

Known for his charisma, energy and dynamic performances, pianist Jon Kimura Parker is the Artistic Director of the Honens International Piano Competition. He has collaborated with legendary rock drummer Stewart Copeland in Off the Score, tango pianist Pablo Ziegler, singer Bobby McFerrin, violinist Cho-Liang Lin, and mezzo-soprano Susan Graham.
Winner of the Gold Medal at the 1984 Leeds International Piano Competition, Parker is an Officer of The Order of Canada and has received Honorary Doctorates from the University of British Columbia and the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto.

Minghuan Xu
violin
Violinist MingHuan Xu is a dedicated performer and educator whose wide-ranging career spans solo, chamber, and contemporary music. She serves as the Program Director of Strings and Assistant Teaching Professor of Violin at Roosevelt University’s Chicago College of Performing Arts.
Her Carnegie Hall debut was featured on Voice of America, and she has toured extensively throughout China, South America, and Europe.
She also performs internationally as one half of Duo Diorama, with pianist Winston Choi.
